2nd Grade Clinic Registration
Hello Parents,
We have finished evaluations and started practices for grades 3 thru 8. We have figured out all the logistics, and we now have a better grasp of our schedule and a concept for the 2nd Grade basketball clinic.
We are going to offer a basketball clinic for 2nd grade boys and girls only. The plan is to start on January 22nd, and have ~8 weeks of basketball. Each week will consist of a Saturday “Clinic”. Our plan is to have ~90 minutes sessions where we will work on skills for the first 45 minutes or so, followed by a game. Each registered kid will receive a t-shirt, ball, and be assigned to a team. As stated, this will be a one-day commitment per week with each level being played on Saturday mornings, in either the Clark or Mickle Gym.
We have to follow the same guidelines at the 3-8 league. This clinic is only open to East Greenwich residents. Parents will not be allowed in the gym for the clinic portion. You will be allowed in the last 30 minutes or so to watch the games. Anyone who enters the gym must wear a mask.
Registration will open tomorrow, December 7th and will be limited to the first 32 registrants for both girls and boys. We will have a waiting list after 32 in case we are able to open it up further (or someone drops out).
