We are so excited for the 2022-2023 basketball season to begin. The board has been working hard to make sure we have another great year of basketball. Our registration has been amazing and we can’t wait to see all the players on the court.

 

For levels 3/4 through 7/8 we will hold evaluations this year just like in years past. The evaluations are run by an outside organization and allow us to evaluate the players to make sure our teams are as even as possible for a fun, competitive season. We will only have one night of evaluations for each level, so please try to make your night.  Only players and coaches will be allowed in the schools for evaluations and practices.

 

Evaluations will be as follows:

 

Tuesday, Oct. 25th, 6:30-7:45 –     3rd and 4th Grade Girls

 

Wednesday, Oct. 26th, 6:30-7:45 – 3rd and 4th Grade Boys

Wednesday, Oct. 26th, 7:45-9:00 – 7th and 8th Grade Boys

 

Tuesday, November 1st, 6:30-7:45 – 7th and 8th Grade Girls

 

Wednesday, November 2nd, 6:30-7:45 – 5th and 6th Grade Girls

Wednesday, November 2nd, 7:45-9:00 – 5th and 6th Grade Boys

 

****All Evaluations will be held in the Samuel Mickle Gym****

 

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer travel basketball this year.  Our gym space just doesn’t allow for us to black out gym space for 6 travel teams. We have to think about the league as a whole and do what is best for everyone. If you are still looking for that next level of play, registration for the Crispin League at Total Turf is still open.  If you have any questions about this, please feel free to reach out.

 

We are also so happy to be able to bring back our 1st and 2nd grade leagues. We have over 100 kids coming out for the first time to give basketball a try!  This league will consist of clinic style instruction, practices, and small games on Saturday mornings. Look for more information to come, as this league will not begin until December.

 

Jerseys will be available to try on at the evaluations.  You have already picked a size in registration. If you need to adjust your size there will be a google form for you to fill out. Once the jerseys are ordered we will not be able to adjust sizes. If for some reason you can not make your evaluation and you need to try the jerseys on, please come to another level’s night.
